2009 Homecoming Events Enjoyed By Many

Thunder and lightning welcomed DHS Alumni and Friends to the Berkshire Hills Country Club on Friday, August 21, 2009, where they enjoyed meeting for dinner in one location for the first time since Homecomings began in 2003.  The evening went smoothly for the 159 guests who warmly greeted three Class of 1929 graduates in attendance and paid special appreciation to Miss Mary Flynn, longtime teacher in the Dalton school system.  On Saturday, at the VFW in Dalton, sunny skies greeted the 240 people who were able to attend the Picnic.  Winners of the 50/50 Raffle were drawn from the rotating drum and checks given to ten lucky DHS Alumni.

This website will be minimized while we complete the plans for the 2011 Homecoming.  Watch for its reopening and a printed newsletter in your mail in the fall of 2010. In the meantime, mark your calendar with this date next year:

August 20, 2011

That’s the date of our new-format, single-day, picnic-style homecoming at the American Legion pond pavilion.
