It’s finally happened! the cramped office in the Community House has been replaced by a spacious, welcoming new facility on the corner of High Street and Field Street Extension — the northwest corner of the DHS property.
After decades of indecision and frustration, news seems to be tumbling out. First, the Senior Center, then the rehabilitation of our old high school building as senior housing.
The long awaited Dalton Senior Center has been built adjacent to the Dalton High School. Groundbreaking of the 5,000 square foot building was held on June 7, 2010.
